Regulatory Services Update Jan 2026

Join the Meat Institute’s Regulatory Services team for our upcoming Reg Services Update. This session will provide a Noncompliance Record (NR) workshop, including guidance and best practices for submitting appeals to the (HQ) level. Participants will receive updates on key FSIS policies, including the revised FSIS Directive 7221.1, Prior Label Approval, issued December 8, 2025, with a focus on changes to the Product of USA policy. The session will also cover current hot topics and regulatory updates, including revisions to FSIS Directive 7120.1 related to safe and suitable ingredients.
