Meat Institute President and CEO Julie Anna Potts and President Emeritus Barry Carpenter attended a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 12 to celebrate the opening of Deli Brands of America’s new slicing facility, warehouse and transportation hub in Baltimore, Maryland. Deli Brands of America, a Meat Institute member company, said its new Center for Logistics and Slicing increases efficiency and expands the company’s slicing capabilities and capacity. Potts and Carpenter were joined by Paul Saval, CEO, Saval Foods Corporation, and Jeff Saval, president, Deli Brands of America.
