National Pastrami Day Campaign Gets Strong Results

The Meat Institute teamed with the Beef Checkoff to actively promote January 14 as National Pastrami Day. The campaign featured releases to mainstream and industry media outlets, a social media push on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and outreach to social media influencers. It generated nearly 24 million impressions, 184 media pickups and 1,234 total engagements on social media. The Meat Institute created a new Facts About Pastrami page that was shared across all platforms. The National Pastrami Day campaign was part of the Meat Institute’s processed beef promotion effort funded by the Beef Checkoff.
