National Hot Dog & Sausage Council Heats Up Winter with New Collection of Soup Recipes

Monday, February 14, 2011

Washington, D.C., February 14, 2011 — With frigid temperatures outside, stay warm inside with a new collection of soup recipes from the National Hot Dog & Sausage Council.

“There is nothing like a bowl of homemade soup to heat you up when the winter winds are whipping outside,” said National Hot Dog & Sausage Council President Janet Riley.  “These four new soup recipes, from Spanish to Italian, white bean to southwestern, are easy to make, affordable, delicious and tummy warming.”

Try some of these soups as a starter, but some are hearty enough to serve as a main dish, whether for lunch or dinner:

Making a delicious soup at home is easier than you think.  To download the recipe cards, visit http://www.hot-dog.org/soups2011.
