AMI Spring Expo Highlight: Sustainable Production, Practices and Products

Washington, D.C. — Sustainability will be at the center of at the 2011 AMI Meat, Poultry & Seafood Industry Convention and Exposition, April 13-16, 2011, at McCormick Place, Chicago, Ill., which will feature a track of focused education sessions as well as a pavilion on the show floor that will include demonstrations and supplier presentations.

AMI represents the interests of packers and processors of beef, pork, lamb, veal and turkey products and their suppliers throughout North America. Together, AMI’s members produce 95 percent of the beef, pork, lamb and veal products and 70 percent of the turkey products in the United States. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the Institute provides legislative, regulatory, public relations, technical, scientific and educational services to the industry.
