Seven AMI Members Elected At Annual Business Meeting To Serve On Executive Committee

Seven American Meat Institute (AMI) members were elected to the Institute’s Executive Committee to serve one-year terms from 2001 to 2002.

The new members were elected during AMI's Annual Business Meeting, which was held during Worldwide Food Expo ’01, October 18 – 21, in Chicago.

New members of AMI’s Executive Committee include:

Rick G. Bond—co-chief operating officer, Tyson Foods, Inc., Dakota Dunes, SD

William Buckner—corporate vice president, Cargill, Inc., and president, Excel Corp., Wichita, KS

Ivo Cozzini—president, Cozzini Inc., Chicago, IL

Dave Miniat—president, Ed Miniat, Inc., Homewood, IL

Daniel Ochylski—president and chief executive officer, The Pinnacle Food Group, Des Moines, IO

John Simons—president and chief operating officer, ConAgra Beef Company, Greeley, CO

Fritz Usinger—president of Fred Usinger, Inc., Milwaukee, WI

“These individuals offer years of industry experience and a diverse perspective on the meat and poultry industry that will help AMI meet the challenges of the coming years,” said AMI President and CEO J. Patrick Boyle.
