New AMI Affinity Program Can Reduce Members' Taxes

Tuesday, October 20, 1998

American Meat Institute (AMI) members now can dramatically reduce their federal and state income taxes through a new affinity program alliance with Net Profit, Inc.

By monitoring over 4,000 government programs from 80,000 taxing jurisdictions in all 50 states, Net Profit identifies programs for which its clients qualify. Among the many types of credits and incentives Net Profit monitors are Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC), Welfare-to-Work (W-2-W), Investment Tax Credit, Pollution Control and Training and Education Credits.

The program is very simple and easy to begin and use. Net Profit coordinates all potential credits and incentives, obtains all documentation from government agencies, calculates tax credits, files all documentation, provides monthly management summaries of all activities and provides all documentation required for tax returns.

Net Profit has retrieved over $200 million in tax savings since its founding in 1990 and is capable of handling over three million transactions per month. Through AMI’s alliance with Net Profit, AMI members are eligible to enroll at a special rate—10 percent of the credits and incentives realized. If Net Profit saves nothing, there is no fee. Net Profit requires no photocopying, no telephone calls and, in short, no hassles.

Net Profit has the best program in the industry and now, AMI members can use their services at a reduced rate. For more information on Net Profit’s services or any other AMI affinity program, contact AMI’s Director of Member Services Jacky Sher at 703/841-2400.

AMI represents the interests of packers and processors of beef, pork, lamb, veal and turkey products and their suppliers throughout North America. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the Institute provides legislative, regulatory and public relations services, conducts scientific and economic research, offers marketing and technical assistance and sponsors education programs.
