Leadership and Customer Loyalty Top Sessions at 2006 Meat Conference

Tuesday, January 3, 2006

“Am I the Leader I Need to be?” led by Harold Lloyd, President of Harold Lloyd Presents, will be the first of two keynote addresses that promise to be a big draw at the 2006 Meat Conference, hosted by the American Meat Institute and the Food Marketing Institute and held March 12 – 14 in Dallas, Texas at the Gaylord Texas Resort and Conference Center. Lloyd, with experience as the leader of a retail organization and an author of a book on leadership, will share his ten qualities all great leaders seem to possess and how one can apply them to his or her personal and professional life.

The second featured presentation to close the conference on March 14, “Building Customer Loyalty,” is being given by Phil Lempert, an author, food trends expert and correspondent on NBC’s Today Show. Lempert has made a career out of scrutinizing consumer attitudes and analyzing how they will impact food trends. His presentation will focus on how to determine what’s on in the minds of consumers now and what they will be thinking, wanting and purchasing in the future.
