American Meat Institute Names Anne K. Nuttall Director of Convention and Member Services

Washington, DC—The American Meat Institute (AMI) announced today that Anne K. Nuttall has been named director of convention and member services.

Nuttall joined AMI in February as a senior meetings manager in the convention services department. In addition to her current responsibilities of promotion, supervision and coordination of logistical details for AMI and AMI Foundation meetings, Nuttall will handle member recruitment and retention, marketing and database management.

Prior to joining AMI, Nuttall operated her own business, the Meeting & Event Company, L.L.C., which managed conferences, trade shows, meetings and special events.

Earlier as an account executive for Hayes, Domenici & Associates in McLean, VA., Nuttall managed some of the firm’s largest accounts and worked extensively with the White House, members of Congress and the diplomatic community.

Nuttall graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She will report to Anne Kane, vice president, convention and member services.

AMI represents the interests of packers and processors of beef, pork, lamb, veal and turkey products and their suppliers throughout North America. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the Institute provides legislative, regulatory and public relations services, conducts scientific and economic research, offers marketing and technical assistance and sponsors education programs.
