AMI Names Yanecia Green Senior Manager of Member Services

Washington, DC - The American Meat Institute (AMI) announced today that Yanecia Green joined AMI as senior manager of member services in the member services department.

Green will handle member recruitment and retention, affinity programs, marketing and database management and report to AMI Vice President of Convention and Member Services Jacky Sher.

Prior to joining AMI, Green worked for the Composites Fabricators Association as a manager of division programs and special projects. In this position, Green created marketing and promotional materials for the organizations special interest groups, which represents manufacturers of composite materials used in industrial, aerospace and military products and common products such as cars, boats and golf clubs.

Green also worked in member services for the International Association of Fire Chiefs, American Federation of TV/Radio Artists and Screen Actors Guild and Radio-TV News Directors Association.

Green received a bachelor of arts in communications media from Bowie State University in 1994. She is now working toward a master of science degree in marketing and management from the University of Maryland and expects to graduate in 2002.

AMI represents the interests of packers and processors of beef, pork, lamb, veal and turkey products and their suppliers throughout North America. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the Institute provides legislative, regulatory and public relations services, conducts scientific and economic research, offers marketing and technical assistance and sponsors education programs.
