W. Dan Wright, president and CEO of Wright Brand Foods, Inc., in Vernon, TX, has been elected to a second term as treasurer of the American Meat Institute (AMI). He will serve from September 1998 to October 1999.
Wright’s election came during AMI's
Annual Business Meeting, which preceded the
1998 Annual Convention and Innovation Showcase,
September 17-19, 1998, in Philadelphia, PA.

meat processing business in 1978, Wright, a
certified public accountant, spent six years
with Arthur Young & Company in London England,
