Washington, DC - The American
Meat Institute (AMI) announced that Bill
Marcinko has joined AMI as the new manager of
computer and information technology.
In
his new position, Marcinko will assist in the
administration and maintenance of AMI’s
computer network. He will also assist and
manage AMI’s various technical
initiatives.
Marcinko joins AMI with a
strong background in information systems
technology. He previously worked as a network
administrator for the Indiana Republican State
Party. He also worked as a systems
administrator for Single Source Systems, a
software developer.
He earned his
bachelor of science in computer and information
technology at Purdue University in West
Lafayette, Indiana.
AMI represents the
interests of packers and processors of beef,
pork, lamb, veal and turkey products and their
suppliers throughout North America.
Headquartered in Washington, DC, the Institute
provides legislative, regulatory, public
relations, technical, scientific and
educational services to the industry.
