Four AMI Members Elected to Serve Three-Year Terms on American Meat Institute's Board of Directors

Four American Meat Institute (AMI) members have been newly-elected to the Institute’s Board of Directors to serve three-year terms from 1999 to 2001.

The new Board members were elected during AMI's Annual Business Meeting, which preceded the 1998 Annual Convention and Innovation Showcase, September 17-19, 1998, in Philadelphia, PA.

The new members include:

  • Anthony Catelli, president, Catelli Brothers, Inc. in Collingswood, NJ
  • Ivo Cozzini, president, Cozzini, Inc. in Chicago, IL
  • Tom Manuel, president & COO, Trading & Processing, ConAgra, Inc. in Omaha, NE
  • Daniel Ochylski, president, The Iowa Packing Company in Des Moines, IA

“These four individuals bring to the Board of Directors years of industry experience and a breadth of perspective on the meat and poultry industry that will help us meet the challenges of the coming years,” said AMI President J. Patrick Boyle.

AMI represents the interests of packers and processors of beef, pork, lamb, veal and turkey products and their suppliers throughout North America. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the Institute provides legislative, regulatory and public relations services, conducts scientific and economic research, offers marketing and technical assistance and sponsors education programs.
