American Meat Institute Names Nancy A. Boulton Assistant Controller

Washington, DC - The American Meat Institute (AMI) announced today that Nancy A. Boulton has joined AMI as assistant controller.

Boulton joins AMI with 15 years experience in accounting. Working closely with Controller Anderton Burke, Boulton will assist in the daily operations of the accounting department. Boulton will be responsible for accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation and PEC and PAC closings. Also, she will deal with AMI member companies and vendors.

Most recently, Boulton worked for Abramson Labus Van De Velde, Inc. in Washington, DC, as an agency accountant. She also worked for Wang Government Services, Inc., Mutual Savings Bank, Dow Chemical Company and Dobson Corporation.

Boulton graduated from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI, with a B.S. in business administration and accounting. She also received an A.A. in business administration from Delta College, University Center, where she became a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society.

AMI represents the interests of packers and processors of beef, pork, lamb, veal and turkey products and their suppliers throughout North America. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the Institute provides legislative, regulatory and public relations services, conducts scientific and economic research, offers marketing and technical assistance and sponsors education programs.
