North American Meat Institute and Urner Barry Release New Meat Cut Posters

Washington, DC – The North American Meat Institute (NAMI) and Urner Barry announced that updated meat cut posters are now available for purchase. The posters, which cover beef, pork, lamb, veal and poultry, display the most popular foodservice meat cuts and are reflective of the recently issued 2014 Institutional Meat Purchase Specifications and the latest edition of NAMI’s Meat Buyer’s Guide.

“These posters are the most informative and comprehensive resources for students, educational institutions and other industry professionals interested in enhancing their knowledge of the most common and popular meat cuts sold in foodservice establishments,” said NAMI President and CEO Barry Carpenter.

The new posters feature the second edition of the beef poster series, which highlights various cuts, including chuck, short loin, sirloin, rib and round. Also, for the first time, NAMI worked with Urner Barry to design a poster outlining common poultry cuts.

The posters are laminated and are presented in full color, measuring 26.5 x 37.5 inches in size. Individual posters cost $19.95, or $89.95 for a set of five. All 10 posters are available for $159.95 and NAMI members receive a 35 percent discount on these prices.
