Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Meats Wins “Hold The Mustard”

Rancho Mirage - Applewood Smoked Bacon Cheddar Bratwurst made by Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Meats was the winner of the 2014 Annual Gourmet Sausagefest at NAMA’s Meat Industry Management Conference and Annual Meeting on March 21. 

Nueske's Applewood Smoked Meats of Wittenberg, WI, has been creating fine nationally-acclaimed Applewood Smoked Meats since 1933. It is loved by chefs, restaurateurs, and foodies alike for its sweet, smoky applewood flavor and aroma - Nueske's signature, achieved by slow smoking over glowing embers of pure Wisconsin Applewood for 24 hours. 

NAMA’s “Hold The Mustard!” Award is an annual award that has been presented to the winners of the Sausagefest since 1994. All products are served to attendees in a blind taste test and winners are selected by popular vote. Sausagefest contestants consist of NAMA members.
