Networking Receptions Scheduled for International Production & Processing Expo

In addition to education and exhibits, the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) will feature multiple receptions and networking opportunities for attendees to visit with their colleagues. IPPE takes place January 29-31, 2013, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with technical experts, view equipment, and network with exhibitors over refreshments at the Opening Reception which will take place on the Expo’s first day, Tuesday, January 29, from 4 – 6 p.m. in both Halls A and B.  In addition to exhibitor hospitality events on the show floor, this reception will feature a chili cook-off with more than 20 of Atlanta’s top professional restaurant chefs. Attendees will have an opportunity to taste all of the samples and vote for their favorite chili. 

The IPPE International Networking Reception will take place on Wednesday, January 30, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest enclosed aquarium. Attendees will network in a relaxed environment with light hors d’oeuvres. Cocktail service will also be available. Complimentary tickets are required for this event and will be available on Monday, January 28 at noon in the B-Building lobby.

More than 60 restaurants will be participating in the “Meat Me in Atlanta” event which highlights some of Atlanta’s top restaurants.  In partnership with the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, this is an easy and enjoyable way to entertain clients and visit with industry colleagues, plus enjoy the finest meat and poultry dishes that Atlanta has to offer.  A complete listing of participating restaurants will be available onsite.
