Registration is now open for the 2013 International Meat Expo, part of the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE), January 29-31, 2013, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

This joint effort of the meat and poultry industries will offer more exhibit space featuring more companies and is expected to offer attract a larger audience than ever.  Registration for the show is $60 and includes a full slate of education programs covering operations, food safety, consumer trends and management.  The IPPE will be offering free simultaneously translated sessions as well as a wide range of specialized co-located workshops available at low, additional fees.

“The response to AMI’s collocation with IPE and IFE has been overwhelmingly positive,” said AMI Vice President of Convention Services Anne Halal.  “With months to go,  we have confirmed  885 exhibitors and 388,000 square feet of exhibit space filled with the leading manufacturers of equipment and supplies in our industry.”

The show’s size puts it on track to  be listed in the top 50 largest trade shows in the U.S., and it is focused directly on the meat, poultry and feed industries.

The live registration site is  http://www.ime13.org/.  All employees of AMI processing member companies are eligible for free registration through the Members to Atlanta program.  In addition, in appreciation for their loyalty, AMI is extending the same offer to any processor that attended the AMI Expo in Dallas in May 2012.
