USDA Offering COOL Webinar for Meat, Seafood and Retailer IndustriesTuesday, March 13, 2012

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) will present a webinar about the COOL labeling law and its implications for the meat, seafood and retail industries. The webinar will be held April 11, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Topics to be discussed include compliance and enforcement requirements, retail review and supplier traceback audit protocols, recordkeeping responsibilities and clarification of the requirements pertaining to pre‐labeled items.
