AMI Partners With American Airlines, Lufthansa To Offer Discounted Airfare for 2012 Expo

The American Meat Institute is partnering with American Airlines and Lufthansa to provide attendees discounts on airfare for the 2012 AMI International Meat, Poultry & Seafood Industry Convention and Exposition in Dallas, Texas.

American Airlines is offering an 8 percent discount off ANY published airfare on http://www.aa.com/. The valid travel dates for this discount are April 24 – May 8, 2012. This special discount is valid off any applicable published fares listed for American Airlines, American Eagle and American Connection.

Lufthansa has waived the minimum stays normally required for inexpensive fares and is offering up to 15 percent off the respective fare. Passengers may arrive or depart seven days before or after the conference begins, to allow for more time to visit the U.S. and potentially forge more business agreements.

The 2012 Expo, which will be held April 30-May 3, 2012, will be co-located with FMI2012, sponsored by Food Marketing Institute (FMI), the U.S. Food Export Showcase sponsored by the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) and United Fresh 2012, sponsored by United Fresh Produce Association (UFPA). Attendees at the AMI Expo will have access to more than1,200 exhibitors focused on processing and packaging equipment and supplies, plus produce and retailer focused exhibits. The registration fee will also include a full schedule of education programming and networking opportunities.
