AMIF to Co-Sponsor Webinar on FSIS E. coli Policy and Upcoming HACCP Validation Guidance Document

AMIF is co-sponsoring a new webinar on the Food Safety and Inspection Service’s (FSIS) E. coli policy and the pending HACCP validation guidance document. The webinar is being presented by the North American Meat Processors Association (NAMP).

Dan Engeljohn, Ph.D., assistant administrator for the FSIS Office of Policy and Program Development, will lead the webinar, which will be held Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. EST / 11 a.m. PST. 

This is the first major FSIS event with the industry since it announced it would designate the six non-O157 STECs as adulterants – and since it released the review of its revised HACCP validation guidance document by the National Advisory Committee on Meat and Poultry Inspection (NACMPI).

The webinar is free to all registered attendees of NAMP’s 2011 E. coli Conference for Beef Further Processors, held in Chicago on Aug 17 – 18. 

Other AMI members may register at the member rate of $59. The non-member rate is $89.  A $10 late fee will be charged after Nov. 10.
