(American Meat Institute)

Nearly 30 AMI member companies have pledged to match all contributions made during the Japan Disaster Relief Drive being held this week at the AMI Meat, Poultry & Seafood Convention and Exposition at McCormick Place, Chicago, Ill.

This means that every dollar donated is equivalent to a contribution of $30.

Attendees can make donations at several collection boxes in the AMI Expo registration area, in the International Business Center, at the general sessions or at the AMI booth (1973).

Donation registration forms are also available at http://www.meatinstitute.org/ht/a/GetDocumentAction/i/68155. Forms may also be returned to any AMI staff member throughout the event.

All funds will go directly to the Japanese Red Cross and are tax deductible. AMI is cooperating with the Japan America Society of Chicago to direct the funds.
