First Phase of FSIS Circuits Scheduled for ImplementationFriday, March 25, 2011

The first phase of Food Safety and Inspection (FSIS) circuits are scheduled to begin using the Health Information System (PHIS) on April 11, 2011.
The system’s components will be implemented in sequential stages, starting with the domestic component. Other components include import activities, export activities and predictive analytics. The domestic component will be implemented in four phases.
