Priority Period for 2012 AMI Expo Ends March 4

The priority period for space selection at the 2012 AMI International Meat, Poultry & Seafood Industry Convention and Exposition ends March 4. Past exhibitors are encouraged to complete an exhibit space application before this date to ensure premium space selection at the 2012 AMI Expo. 

The 2012 AMI Expo will be co-located for the first time with the Food Marketing Institute’s and United Fresh Produce Association’s 2012 shows, and will be held April 30 - May 3, 2012 in Dallas, Texas.  AMI announced last month that one badge will give attendees access to all three show floors.

AMI hosted an interactive webinar recently to review the priority point system.  AMI Vice President of Convention and Exposition Services Anne Halal reviewed how space is assigned, how priority points are accumulated and emphasized that there is no impact or loss of points for companies that do not participate annually. 

In addition, AMI unveiled a new tool that can assist suppliers in calculating their exhibit space costs. This is an easy way to compare the new flexible biennial rate program and all inclusive drayage plan for 2012.
