AMI Spring Expo Features Full Slate of Networking EventsFriday, February 25, 2011

The 2011 Meat, Poultry & Seafood Industry Convention and Exposition, April 13-16, 2011, at McCormick Place, Chicago, Ill., will feature a full slate of networking events during which attendees will have the opportunity to share ideas and solutions.
These scheduled networking events include daily AMI Expo Networking Receptions hosted by Lenexa, Kansas-based Marel Townsend Further Processing, maker of equipment for further processing needs, including portioning and forming, marinating, coating, frying, cooking and sausage-making for poultry, red meat and fish.
All packers and processors are welcome to stop by booth #2007 to pick up complimentary tickets. Attendees will enjoy food, beverages and live music with the Ice Blues Band and the I-pad Band, who recently played for First Lady Michelle Obama. Complimentary tickets for processors will also be available at the door.
Other events include the AMI Awards and Board of Directors’ Breakfast on Thursday, April 14, and the Washington Insider Breakfast (featuring keynote speaker William Kristol, editor of The Weekly Standard) and the AMI-Chicago Midwest Meat Association (CMMA) Cocktail Party, both on Friday, April 15.
