The March 2 deadline for discounted pre-registration for the American Meat Institute’s 2011 Meat, Poultry & Seafood Industry Convention and Exposition, April 13-16, 2011, at McCormick Place, Chicago, Ill., is fast approaching. Those who register before this date may do so at a reduced rate of $125. After March 2, registration rates will increase to $175. Non-exhibiting suppliers may also register at a discounted rate of $450 before March 2.

The deadline for attendees to reserve hotel rooms at a reduced rate is also around the corner. Attendees have until March 11 to secure their stay at one of Chicago's top hotels, including the Hyatt Regency Chicago, InterContinental Chicago and Trump International Chicago.

This year’s show will feature six tracks of timely educational workshops with 25 educational sessions. General Session Speakers include Former Central Intelligence Agency Director and National Security Agency Director Michael Hayden and Former Kellogg CEO and Chairman of the Board Carlos Gutierrez, who also served as Secretary of Commerce.
