Tickets Available for AMI Awards and Board of Directors BreakfastTuesday, November 30, 2010

Tickets are now available for the AMI Awards and Board of Directors Breakfast, to be held at 7 a.m. on April 14, 2011, during the AMI International Meat, Poultry and Seafood Industry Convention and Exposition at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill.
During the breakfast, which is sponsored by ADT Security Services, Inc., and Arrowsight, Inc., AMI will present the following annual awards:
- The Industry Advancement Award, which
honors an individual, group or company whose
work has contributed to the success of the meat
and poultry industry. Nominees may represent
academia, government, media or
- The Supplier of the Year Award, which
honors a supplier who has shown a spirit of
partnership and has made an outstanding
contribution to the success of the meat and
- The Edward C. Jones Community Service
Award, named for the former AMI Board member,
which honors a company that has shown a strong
commitment to the communities in which it
- The Scientific Achievement Award, which honors an individual from industry, academia or government whose professional achievements have made a significant contribution to the scientific knowledge of the meat and poultry industry.
