Early Bird Registration Deadline for Center of the Plate Training Plus Approaching

The early bird deadline for those wishing to register for Center of the Plate Training Plus is fast approaching. Attendees must register by Feb. 3 to receive the discounted rate of $599 for members and $699 for non-members.

Center of the Plate Training Plus, to be held Feb. 17-19 at the University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, Canada, is an expanded three-day course designed to teach the fundamentals of meat cutting and identification, and the proper use of those cuts in a retail or foodservice environment. Attendees will also work with the Beef Information Centre to better understand the quality and safety aspects of Canadian beef, as well as to learn information on yields and the economics of cutting beef.

This specially enhanced course is conducted by North American Meat Processors Association (NAMP), the Beef Information Centre, Canadian Meat Business magazine and the Ontario Veal Association, and co-sponsored by the American Meat Institute Foundation and the Canadian Meat Council.
