AMIF will host the 2001 Conference on Worker Safety, Health and Human Resources March 11-14, 2001, at the Denver Marriot City Center in Denver, CO. In addition to the annual safety awards program and topical worker safety, human resources and ergonomics issues, this year’s conference will help meat and poultry companies prepare to meet new requirements in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) controversial Ergonomic Standard, published in November. Ergonomic and regulatory experts will provide overviews of the new rule and offer advice to help companies implement the new requirements.
Registration for the
three-day event is $455 for AMI members, $395
per person for groups of three or more from the
same member company, and $695 for non-members.
