The alliance board also
agreed to proceed with plans for hosting a
Global HACCP Conference in the fall of 2001.

information is confirmed.
co-chaired by Robert Savage of the HACCP
Consulting Group and Jeff Savell of Texas A&M
University, has developed a tentative list of
topics for the conference, including an
overview of the initial purpose of HACCP versus
its present use, the adequate way to address
verification and validation, the proper use of
risk assessment and management, international
concepts of HACCP and the use of prerequisite
programs in food safety.
