The process and science regarding compliance with protocols for importing cattle into the U.S. is on the agenda of an APHIS public meeting scheduled for February 6, 2002.
The meeting is open to the
public and will cover the disease status of
exporting regions or countries, transportation
issues, quarantine issues, the risk of the
introduction of disease into the U.S. from the
importation of cattle and other topics. The
meeting will be held from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
local time at the Lincoln Center's Columbine
Room, 417 West Magnolia, Fort Collins, CO. To
