NAMI Gears Up for Activities with China Meat Association.

The Meat Institute has three large activities planned with the China Meat Association in Chengdu, China the week of Sept. 23 - 27, 2019. The first is a roundtable event between the U.S. China Agriculture and Food Partnership (AFP) and the China Meat Association, which will take place Sept. 24. The draft agenda and discussion topics are now available. The second event is the 2019 World Pork Congress, hosted by the International Meat Secretariat, from Sept. 25 - 26. The Meat Institute's Susan Backus, President of the Foundation for Meat and Poultry Research and Education, is scheduled to deliver a presentation at the World Pork Congress on Sept. 26. Lastly, the Meat Institute will be sharing booth space with the U.S. Meat Export Federation at the 2019 China International Meat Industry Exhibition in Chengdu from Sept. 26 - 28.
