Meat Institute Details Benefits of Beef vs. Plant-based Burgers for AP

The Meat Institute responded to a request from the Associated Press comparing the nutrition and environmental impact of beef burgers vs. new plant-based options. The final story highlighted the difference in number of ingredients between the products with the Meat Institute noting that beef burgers are made with one natural ingredient: beef. The Meat Institute also successfully pushed for a correction in the story after one of the sources quoted claimed that most beef comes from animals that never grazed on grass. That incorrect statement was removed.
