The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is offering additional educational resources as part of its continuing effort to prevent African Swine Fever (ASF) from entering the U.S. As part of its ongoing ASF prevention effort, APHIS updated its ASF-focused website with additional information and links to partner resources. The new education materials include four infographics explaining ASF pathways, biosecurity, signs and symptoms and travel tips. The Meat Institute is working closely with the agency and pork producers on a coordinated effort to monitor the ASF situation and implement best practices to keep ASF out of the U.S.
