Meat Institute Debuts New Beefshi Recipes

As part of its work with the Beef Checkoff, the Meat Institute launched eight new Beefshi recipes. The Beefshi concept of incorporating beef deli meats, jerky and hot dogs into sushi rolls was developed in 2018, and this year’s new recipes were done in conjunction with several state beef councils (SBCs), that have agreed to help promote the rolls to retail and foodservice contacts within their state. All the recipes including images, video and nutrition information are available at www.beefshi.com. Two of the rolls were sampled at the Annual Meat Conference.
