National Pastrami Day Campaign Gets Strong Results

The Meat Institute teamed with the Beef Checkoff to actively promote National Pastrami Day on January 14. The campaign featured new “tasty-style” videos highlighting pastrami’s versatility, a release to mainstream and industry media outlets and a social media push on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. It generated more than 167 media pickups and 32,588 engagements on social media, with a total audience reach of more than 86 million. The Meat Institute also shared its Facts About Pastrami page across all platforms. The National Pastrami Day campaign was part of the Meat Institute’s prepared beef promotion effort funded by the Beef Checkoff.
