The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is requesting establishing an information collection to receive input regarding the agency’s outreach efforts to control Listeria monocytogenes in retail delicatessens. FSIS, in collaboration with the Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will conduct focus groups with representatives from industry, state and local public health and agriculture departments and retail delicatessens to gather feedback on their information needs and current outreach materials that address Listeria control. FSIS is accepting public comments on the proposed information collection through January 22, 2019.
