Animal Handling Conference Attendees Qualify for PAACO Continuing Education Credits

Attendees to the Meat Institute's annual Animal Care and Handling Conference for the Food Industry , October 18-19, 2018, in Kansas City, Missouri, qualify for Professional Animal Auditor Certification Organization (PAACO) continuing education credits. Those who attend the entire conference will receive 12 credit hours, the number required annually to maintain PAACO certification. The workshop is the leading animal welfare educational opportunity for meat companies, their customers and those involved in the production and management of livestock and meat products. The conference is designed to help companies improve animal handling and regulatory compliance, and will offer an overview of the most current humane handling and stunning practices.
