Meat Institute’s Annual Hot Dog Lunch Hits Grand Slam on Capitol HillMonday, July 23, 2018

More than 1,000 lawmakers, congressional staff, meat industry representatives and members of the media last week attended the Meat Institute’s Annual Hot Dog Lunch on Capitol Hill. Former Major League Baseball greats Tim Raines, Bert Campaneris and Lou Piniella were on-site to greet fans and sign autographs.
Guests consumed more than 3,500 hot dogs, corn dogs, brats and other sausages from popular hot dog manufacturers including Boar’s Head Provisions Co., Inc.; Dietz & Watson, Inc.; Hormel Foods Corporation; Land O’Frost, Inc.; Smithfield Foods; and Tyson Foods, Inc.
