Meat Summit to Feature Popular Sausage Fest Competition

The Meat Institute will once again host its popular Sausage Fest during the Meat Industry Summit, April 16-19, 2018, at La Cantera Resort and Spa in San Antonio, Texas. The Sausage Fest, which will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on April 16, will feature sausages and ready-to-eat (RTE) products in competition to earn the annual “Hold the Mustard” award. All NAMI members that produce sausage or other RTE products will receive complimentary entry to the Sausage Fest, and attendees will judge the products in a blind taste test.
