Registration Now Open for Meat Institute Annual Meeting and Outlook Conference

Registration is now open for the Meat Institute’s Annual Meeting and Outlook Conference, scheduled to take place September 27-29, 2016, at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, DC. Members are encouraged to view the preliminary agenda and to make travel plans accordingly. This event features in-depth education sessions, covering key industry topics including food waste, antibiotic use in livestock and a preview of 2017 USDA priorities. Conference breakout sessions will address legislative affairs, employment issues, family business topics, economics and more.

The association’s annual meeting, and Meat Institute Board of Directors and committee meetings will also be held. Networking opportunities include the John Duyn Golf Tournament and a showcase exhibit and reception. The Institute will once again host Congressional office visits and a reception on Capitol Hill.
