New Study Says Vegetarianism, Low Meat Consumption Don’t Reduce Cancer Risks

A new, 30 year study by Dutch researchers found that vegetarians, pescetarians and one-day per week meat consumers did not have a reduced risk of lung, postmenopausal breast and overall prostate cancer compared with individuals consuming meat on a daily basis. The study, which followed 11,082 individuals and analyzed their health outcomes, appeared in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
