The Meat Institute unveiled dates and locations for its upcoming fall conferences. The Pathogen Control and Regulatory Compliance in Beef Processing Conference will take place September 7-8, 2016, in Rosemont Illinois. The conference provides valuable insights for beef processors, networking opportunities and access to key information to help businesses improve their food safety programs. NAMI will also host its Annual Meeting and Outlook Conference September 27-29, 2016, at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, DC. This event features in-depth education sessions, Board of Directors and committee meetings and networking opportunities.
The Institute will hold its annual Animal Care and Handling Conference October 13-14, 2016, in Kansas City, Missouri. The workshop is designed to help companies improve productivity, efficiency and product quality, and will offer an overview of the most current humane handling and stunning practices. The Advanced Listeria monocytogenes Intervention and Control Workshop , also scheduled to take place in Kansas, City, Missouri, will be held October 18-19, 2016. Attendees will receive an overview of the latest developments in Listeria control processes and the regulatory environment.
