Mexico's National Agro-Alimentary Health, Safety and Quality Service (SENASICA) conducted the first test of the country's Integrated System of Inspection Service (SISI) program, which inspects and certifies low-risk agri-food products from the U.S. and Canada. When finalized, the SISI program will replace the inspection and certification of covered imports at Mexico's northern border points of entry. The pilot program is being tested at four intermodal terminals within Mexico, including Pantaco in Mexico City, Puerta Mexico in Toluca, Silao in Guanajuato and Logistics Intermodal Terminal of the State of Hidalgo.
