Peru Joins PQA Plus Pork EV Program

USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service announced that Peru has joined the Pork Quality Assurance (PQA) Plus Export Verification (EV) Program. Pork and pork products exported to Peru must have either undergone a Trichinae mitigation process, be derived from carcasses that have tested negative for trichinosis or be derived from swine and swine enterprise that comply with the National Pork Board’s PQA Plus program.
