Salmonella Research Update Webinar Announced

The Meat Institute will host a webinar April 30, 2015, at 1 p.m. ET to provide an overview of results from recently completed research addressing Salmonella in beef products. The webinar will cover results from research that evaluated whole genome sequencing, comparative genetics of human versus cattle isolates, Salmonella prevalence in lymph nodes and the potential effects of lymph node contamination on beef products. Participants also will have the opportunity to direct future research on this topic. Presenters include Dr. Guy Loneragan, Texas Tech University, and Dr. Danya Harhay, USDA Agricultural Research Service. There is no cost to attend this webinar, but registration is required.
