Registration Now Open for Dietetics and Nutrition Spring Webinar Series

Registration is now open for FDA's spring food and nutrition webinar series , sponsored by the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) and the Joint Institute for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (JIFSAN). The spring webinars will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. ET on March 24 and from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on April 20. The March 24 session will discuss nutrition labeling of standard menu items in restaurants and similar retail food establishments, as well as calorie labeling of articles of food in vending machines, while the April 20 webinar will provide an overview of gluten-free labeling requirements. Two additional sessions will be held in fall 2015, and details regarding these webinars will be announced at a later date. Participants are eligible to receive continuing professional education credits.
