Betsy Booren, Ph.D., to Lead AMSA Health and Wellness Educational Webinar

NAMI's Vice President of Scientific Affairs Betsy Booren, Ph.D., will provide a briefing on current health and wellness issues facing the meat and poultry industry during an educational webinar hosted by the American Meat Science Association (AMSA). Booren will update participants on the development of the 2015 Dietary Guidelines for Americans nutrition policy report and will discuss the International Agency for Research on Cancer's evaluation of red and processed meats as a human carcinogen.
