Meat and poultry academic leaders can now join the Meat Institute for an annual dues rate of $250, which is open to any full-time junior, senior or graduate student majoring in, or faculty member teaching or conducting research in, animal, food, meat or poultry science at a college or university in the U.S., Canada or Mexico. Academic membership is open to all individuals who teach, conduct research or are involved in meat and poultry industry outreach.
Academic members will be recognized on the Meat Institute's website, and may register to attend NAMI meetings and conferences at a discounted member rate. Academic members are also eligible to participate in NAMI committee meetings to provide expertise and guidance on a wide array of scientific and educational issues.
