IPPE Cooking Demonstrations Announced

The 2015 International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) will host a variety of cooking demonstrations and culinary activities as part of its 'Meat Me in Atlanta' program. On Tuesday, January 27, and Wednesday, January 28, nationally and locally recognized chefs will host demonstrations during which they will prepare and cook chicken, turkey, egg, beef and pork products. On Thursday, January 29, culinary students will participate in a professionally-judged cooking competition, with awards presented for the winning dishes.

In addition to these culinary events, an education session entitled, "Specialty Cuts and Recipes: The Latest in Pork and Beef," hosted by Steve Olson, advisor for NAMI's standards and specifications, and Chef Francesco Abbinanti C.E.C. The session will demonstrate the latest trends in cuts of meat products to provide convenient meal ideas to attendees.
